Terms of Service

1. What FreeBet is

FreeBet is a private, invite-only prediction market. You can create markets about future events, and other members can place bets using platform credits. When a market is resolved, the pool is shared among the people who picked the correct outcome.

In short: be fair, be honest, and only create markets that can be resolved objectively.

2. Your account

• You sign in with Discord and need a valid invite code to join.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• One account per person. Don't share or sell your account.
• You are responsible for everything that happens on your account.

3. Credits, deposits and payouts

• Credits are used to place bets. Deposits are processed through our payment provider, and a small service fee may apply.
• Winnings are paid in credits based on the share of the pool you are entitled to.
• We may correct your balance if a clear error, bug or fraud is found.

4. Withdrawals

You can request a payout of your balance to your bank account. Here is how it works:

• The minimum withdrawal is 500 HUF.
• You provide a valid bank account number or IBAN. The amount is reserved from your balance straight away.
• Every request starts as pending and is reviewed manually by an admin — this is a safeguard against fraud and mistakes.
• When an admin approves it, the status changes to "transfer in progress", we send you a confirmation email, and the bank transfer is started. It can take a few business days to arrive.
• If a request is rejected, the reserved amount is refunded to your balance.
• We may decline withdrawals linked to suspected fraud, manipulation or rule-breaking.

5. Rules for creating markets

A good market has a clear question and a result that anyone can check from a trustworthy public source. Before a market goes live it is reviewed by an admin.

You may NOT create markets where the outcome can be easily manipulated or controlled by a person or small group. For example:

• Bets on things the creator or a bettor can directly influence (e.g. "Will I post X today?").
• Outcomes decided by a private, secret or unverifiable source.
• Vague questions with no clear yes/no answer or no agreed source of truth.
• Events that depend on insider knowledge only some players have.
• Anything illegal, or markets that target a private individual's personal life, safety or harm.

Admins may reject or cancel any market that breaks these rules. If a market is cancelled, bets are refunded.

6. Fair play

Don't cheat. This includes match-fixing, colluding with others to move a pool, using multiple accounts, exploiting bugs, or trying to influence a market's outcome for profit. We may void affected bets and take action on the accounts involved.

7. Enforcement and bans

If you break these terms, we may warn you, remove your markets, freeze your balance, or ban your account. Serious or repeated violations can lead to a permanent ban. Banned users lose access to the platform.

8. Emails

We'll send you essential emails about your account and your activity (for example: market results, payouts and important notices). These are part of the service. Optional update emails are only sent if you opt in, and you can change your mind at any time. See the Privacy Policy for details.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If we make important changes, we'll ask you to accept the new version. Continuing to use FreeBet means you accept the current terms.
